Cancellation Policy

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, and all deposits are non-refundable.
  • If you cancel more than 30 days before your scheduled trip, your deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to reschedule the trip.
  • If you cancel within 30 days of your trip, the deposit will be forfeited unless you reschedule your trip within one year.
  • Cancellations made within one week of the scheduled date will require full payment.
  • Trips canceled due to weather will be rescheduled.

Prepare for Your Trip

What You Need on the Boat

  • Polarized Sunglasses, preferably amber lenses
  • UV protectant clothing or clothing for warmth in cold conditions and a rain jacket.
  • A hat with a wide brim or a baseball cap
  • Closed Shoes are preferable to sandals, sometimes there’s a lot of horseflies!
  • A Louisiana fishing license, there are charter passenger 3 day licenses.

Gear

I provide all the fishing gear you’ll need on the water. Rods, tippet, flies etc. are covered. If you want to bring your own, feel free.

Where to Stay

The Dogwood Lodge is excellent for those interested in just the fishing. You will be picked up by my boat from the lodge and head out to the marsh from there. Check out their website for more info.

The Best Western Plus in Chalmette is great for those who are just interested in fishing, their number is (504)-309-6360
